Cancer, the tea today is a rejection, refusal, missed opportunity, turned-down proposal, unanswered invitation, or somebody deciding NOT to move forward may initially feel personal, but An Offer reversed underneath says whatever was being presented may not have been nearly as solid as it looked anyway. This could be somebody declining a relationship, a company passing on you, an agreement falling through, somebody not accepting your proposal, or an opportunity simply not materializing after it looked promising. But when the offer itself is reversed, I have to question the terms, the intention, the stability, or what you actually would have been signing yourself up for. Something can hurt your feelings and still save you from a headache. That “no” may have prevented you from accepting something you would eventually have wanted OUT of.
